Suncoast is excited to introduce a new way to help keep our members safe. Voice biometrics is a convenient way to enhance your security when you call Suncoast and it uses a technology that is widely used among other financial call centers to help protect consumers.
Here’s what you need to know about this new technology.
How Do Voice Biometrics Work?
Voice ID is a tool that analyzes and verifies your voice when you call Suncoast. This lets you safely access your account with fewer verification questions needed.
For repeat callers to Suncoast, Voice ID identifies your unique voiceprint to let us know that it is you calling.
What Are the Benefits of Voice Biometrics?
This new feature will save you time when calling into Suncoast while maintaining your security.
If a fraudster tries to call pretending to be you, Voice ID will help identify that you aren’t the caller.
Along with the safety benefits, Voice ID can help you save time. Instead of answering multiple questions to verify your identity, your voiceprint helps us confirm your identity.
Do Members Need to Do Anything Different?
Suncoast members don’t have to make any changes to take advantage of this new feature. All you have to do is call as usual and the voice biometrics technology will take care of the rest.
If you don’t want voice biometrics used for your calls with Suncoast, you can opt out. It’s important to note that this would just opt you out of the voice biometrics software from being used and would still subject your call to recording for quality and training purposes.
