Neighborhoods throughout Sumter County are invited to come together for National Night Out, a community-building event focused on crime and drug prevention. Held on October 3rd from 5:30–9:00 PM, residents are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on their porch lights, and spend the evening outside with local businesses, law enforcement, and fellow citizens. The event promotes neighborhood spirit, police-community partnerships, and support for local anti-crime efforts.
