What are my car payment options?

You can make car payments online, through our SunMobile App, through ACH automatic payments, or payroll deduction. Here are the instructions for each method.

Pay Online

Track, view, and pay your loans from your Suncoast account with SunNet Online Banking.

Mobile Payments

Download our app, SunMobile, using your Apple iOS or Android device. Access and pay your loans from your Suncoast account when you’re on the go or away from the computer. Please see “Pay Online” option above, as you must sign in to your account through our website prior to accessing the mobile app. You can also conveniently make payments and view your loan statement through your smartphone's mobile wallet by enrolling in moBills.

ACH Automatic Payments

Set up automatic payments so you’ll know your payments are made on time every month. You choose the amount and the withdrawal date from your institution, and your payments will be made automatically for you.

Payroll Deduction

Making loan payments by payroll deduction is an easy way to pay your loan at the same time your payroll is deposited.

How can I make a car payment online?

Track, view, and pay your loans from your Suncoast account with SunNet Online Banking or the SunMobile app.

If you need to make payments with funds from another financial institution, you can set up one-time payments online without logging in.

Don’t have online banking set up yet? Please call our Member Care Center to receive a temporary pin number, and then enter your account number (listed on your membership card), create a password and get started!

Does Suncoast have Payment Protection policies for car loans?

Suncoast offers Payment Protection policies that can help you make your monthly loan payments if you become disabled due to injury or illness. Payment Protection offers coverage until you are no longer disabled or payoff your loan balance in full up to the policy maximum in the event of death. Payment Protection, provides:

Credit Life insurance for up to $30,000 or your loan balance, whichever is less; this can be added to the loan payment.
Credit Disability insurance to protect against disability of the insured borrower. The benefit will make the payment amount up to $600 per month, per loan, during the disability period.

How can I apply for auto refinancing?

You can apply for auto refinancing in SunNet Online Banking, using the SunMobile app, or calling the Member Care Center at 800-999-5887 ext. 88100.

Click on “Open & Apply”
Verify your contact information and click “Continue to Loan Center”
Click on “Apply for an Auto Loan”
In the new/used vehicle section, click on “Apply Now”

Click on section for "Vehicle Loan"
For the first question, choose “Refinance” as the general purpose of the loan

†APR = Annual Percentage Rate effective 6/1/2024; subject to change, term, and credit qualifications. Special auto loan rate as low as 7.25% for electric vehicles, hybrids, and plug in hybrids is valid on present calendar year models and previous three calendar year models, for terms up to 72 months. Annual percentage rates may vary. Annual percentage rates may change during loan terms on variable rate products. Membership and/or participation fees may apply. Inquire about specific fees for a product through your credit union. Existing Suncoast loans are not eligible for refinance.
